Bel Ami - Hermès, Eau de toilette , Men , Spray
THE CREATION
Referring to the eponymous novel by Guy de Maupassant, Bel Ami eau de toilette celebrates the authenticity of leather. Conceived in 1986 by perfumer Jean-Louis Sieuzac, the composition interprets the material with as much opulence as character.
THE OLFACTORY NOTES
Woody and oaky, the eau de toilette Bel Ami affirms the bold encounter between a mesmerizing patchouli, deep leather and a sensual labdanum cyst.
THE SUBJECT
Inspired by the lanterns of cars of yesteryear, the bottle is topped with a black hood echoing the bomb of the riders. Sign of belonging to the collection of Parfums-Fondateurs, the label on the back is illustrated with a drawing by Philippe Dumas.
THE COLLECTION OF THE FOUNDING PERFUMES
The Founders Perfumes collection draws its inspiration from the heritage of the house. Each creation concentrates the imagination of Hermès in a name, a fragrance, a color. Over the years, Hermès has written the pages of a bold perfumery, born from the meeting with exceptional perfumers.
